Bringing back older traditions is what makes Christmas really feel like Christmas. Advent calendars, Christmas Eve with family, decorating gingerbread houses and the list goes on, these are the memories that have really stuck with me over the years. Now that my children are getting older, I hope they also remember the traditions I’ve incorporated into our Christmas each year.
This holiday potpourri is something my family has used for decades, as I’m sure a lot of your families have too. That’s where traditions really make a lasting memory. They bring back a feeling and moment in time and makes you smile.
I hope this recipe does that for you and brings a sense of coziness to your home this holiday season.
I’ve created a FREE PRINTABLE for you. Print it in recipe size and keep it in your recipe box, print it larger and add to a frame as decor, or print in a smaller format and use as gift tags. (photo shown at the top of this post)
This recipe makes for an easy and affordable gift idea too. Dollar Tree has great airtight seal jars that you can add all of the ingredients to. Tie the smaller printable gift tags onto the lid with some bakers twine for a thoughtful gift idea.
*TIP* If you are using fresh ingredient make sure to refrigerate before gifting. As an alternative, you can also use dried ingredients (orange slices, cranberries, and rosemary) for a gift that has a longer shelf life.
