xTool P2 Acrylic Projects
The xTool P2 CO2 laser machine packs a punch! This machine is efficient and more importantly fun to create with. It can cut and engrave so many different materials, but I wanted to put the machine to the test and try creating with acrylic. See how I made a bookmark/tag, cake topper, dog tags, dry erase board, and more by clicking the video linked below.
I found the power set to 100% and speed set to 20 was the sweet spot for most acrylics. I also made sure to select the type of acrylic I was using when it was time to send it to the machine to cut.
These were my favorite acrylics to cut on the xTool P2:
Transparent Acrylic
Mirrored Gold Acrylic
Iridescent
Blush Pink
If you are looking at a laser machine for your crafting this machine can do that and more. This would be a great machine to launch a business with since it is a quick laser than some of the smaller diode lasers that are more geared to crafters. If you are looking for a small laser machine, check out xTool’s M1. I also LOVE this smaller scale laser machine, and the price difference is significant.
